Your Questions, Answered
Getting started with Pro Packers UK
Pro Packers UK is a UK third-party logistics (3PL) provider. We receive your stock into our warehouse in Colne, Lancashire, store it, then pick, pack and dispatch your orders as they come in. We also prepare stock for Amazon FBA and TikTok Shop, handle returns, and offer kitting and branded packaging. You focus on selling while we run the warehouse side. See our ecommerce fulfilment services.
We work with online sellers who have outgrown packing orders themselves: Amazon sellers (FBA and FBM), TikTok Shop sellers, Shopify and WooCommerce brands, and beauty and cosmetics brands. See the industries we serve. We also support overseas brands that need a UK base for their stock. Whether you are just starting out or shipping thousands of orders a month, tell us your volumes and we will tell you honestly whether we are a good fit. If you are comparing providers, read how to choose a 3PL in the UK.
Our 35,000 sq ft warehouse is in Colne, Lancashire, in the North West of England, close to the M65. From there we dispatch orders across the UK and internationally. If you would like to know more about the facility or how we work, get in touch with our team. Read more about our ecommerce fulfilment in Lancashire.
It depends on your order volumes, the number of products you sell and how your store connects to us. Once pricing is agreed, we set up your account, connect your sales channels and book in your first delivery of stock. We give you a realistic start date at the quote stage, so you can plan the switch without a gap in dispatch.
We work with brands at different stages, from start-ups to established sellers. Pricing depends on your volumes, so the most useful thing you can do is tell us your average monthly orders when you request a quote. If we are not the right fit for your size, we will be upfront about it.
Amazon FBA and marketplace prep
FBA prep means getting your stock ready to meet Amazon’s requirements before it goes into an Amazon fulfilment centre. It covers FNSKU labelling, polybagging, bundling, protective packaging and checking units against Amazon’s rules, then sending the shipment in. Getting it right first time avoids rejected or delayed inbound shipments. See Amazon FBA and marketplace prep. Since 1 July 2026 Amazon no longer offers its own prep service in the UK; our FBA prep guide explains what has changed.
Yes. We prepare stock for TikTok Shop’s Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) programme, labelling and packing it to TikTok’s requirements. If you prefer to ship TikTok Shop orders yourself rather than through FBT, we can pick, pack and dispatch those orders from our warehouse instead. See our TikTok Shop fulfilment service.
Yes. For Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) and Seller Fulfilled Prime, your Amazon orders come through to us and we pick, pack and dispatch them from our warehouse. Seller Fulfilled Prime has strict dispatch and delivery standards, so talk to us about your volumes and cut-off times when you request pricing.
We check stock when it arrives. If units are missing barcodes, are damaged, or will not meet marketplace rules as they are, we tell you before anything is sent on and agree how to fix it, for example relabelling, rebagging or bundling. Fixing problems here costs far less than having a shipment rejected at Amazon.
Orders, shipping and returns
We connect with the main ecommerce platforms and marketplaces, including Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, eBay and TikTok Shop. Orders come through to us automatically and stock levels can update back to your store. If you sell on another platform, ask us and we will check what is possible.
We dispatch with Evri, DPD, FedEx and DX, choosing the service for each order based on parcel size, weight, destination and the delivery speed you offer your customers. If you already have carrier accounts of your own, mention it when you contact us and we can talk through the options.
Yes. As well as UK delivery, we dispatch orders to international customers. Tell us where your customers are when you request a quote and we will recommend the right delivery services.
Yes. Send us your branded boxes, mailers, inserts and thank-you cards, and we will store them and use them on your orders. We can also put together gift sets, bundles and promotional packs. See our custom packaging and kitting service.
Yes. When a customer sends an item back, we receive it, check its condition and record the result. Items in saleable condition go back into stock, and damaged items are set aside and handled according to your instructions. That keeps your stock figures accurate and gets resaleable items back on sale sooner.
Storage and stock
Every delivery is checked in and recorded against your account, so you can see your stock levels and follow your orders as they are dispatched. Accurate stock counts help you avoid overselling and plan reorders before you run out.
Yes. For products with batch numbers or expiry dates, such as cosmetics, skincare and supplements, we record batches and dates so older stock can go out first and out-of-date stock does not reach your customers. See cosmetics and beauty fulfilment.
Pricing
Most fulfilment pricing is made up of a few parts: receiving stock, storage based on the space your products take up, a pick and pack charge per order, packaging, and postage. Your total depends on your order volumes, product sizes and the services you need. The quickest way to get a figure is to request a custom quote with your average monthly orders. For typical UK price ranges and a worked example, read our UK fulfilment cost guide.
No. You get an itemised quote before you commit, showing what you will pay for storage, picking and packing, packaging and delivery. If anything in the quote is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
